IAF Recruitment – AFCAT Exam for Graduates/ PG

Indian Air Force (IAF) has issued recruitment notification in Page 22 of Employment Newspaper of today regarding AFCAT Exam for Graduates/ PG. Exam will be conducted in 2016 and course will commence in 2017.

Name of Post: Short Service Commission

Qualification: –

1.Flying Branch: Degree with 60% marks and Physics, Maths in 12th OR B.E/B.Tech with 60% marks.

2. Technical Branch: Aeronautical Engineering OR Graduation + Associate membership of Institute of Engineers.

3.Ground Duty: –

• Administration & Logistics:  3 years Degree in any discipline scoring 60% marks OR PG Degree/ Diploma scoring at least 50% marks.
• Accounts: B.Com with 60% OR M.com/ CA/ ICWA with 50% marks.
• Education: Post Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks.

Note: Final year candidates who can furnish their qualification certificate(Provisional/Original)  as on 15 December 2016 , are eligible.

Height Required: –

• Flying Branch: Men :162.5 cms (legs: 99 cm to 120cms).
• Technical & Ground Duty: Men :157.5 cms and Women 152cms.
