J&K Police Recruitment 2015 – 4000 Constable Vacancies

Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Police department has published recruitment notification regarding 4000 Police Constable vacancies to be filled in the state Government. Only permanent residents of J&K can apply for these vacancies.

Vacancies: 4000

• Constable (Executive Police) – 1000
• Constable (Armed Police) – 3000

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have done 10th or equivalent qualification.

Age Limit: Maximum 28 years in case of general candidates.

Physical Standards:-

Height : Minimum 5’6″ for Male and 5’2″ for females ( 2 inch relaxation for Ladhak & Gorkha of J&K state)

Scale of Pay: Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1900.

Selection Process: Through Physical Endurance test (PET), Physical Standard (PST) & Written Exam.
